BASIC:
Lets talk about the basic organization of a hard drive.
Years ago you could back-up an entire hard drive onto diskettes in about 20 minutes. Few people did this in the old days -and- with hard drives now thousands of times the size of yesterdays hard drives this is getting to be totally unrealistic in most situations.
With the size of hard drives today it is becoming more important for computer users to understand how to organize their data.
It is not important to back up your system software. You should have the original CD's and if you have real problems you should probably do a clean install anyway.
It is not important to back up all of the applications. You should have the original CD's and registration numbers.
What does this leave us with?
